Ellis checked in twice from Hollywood & reassured the crew that: 1) he is metal 2) he's not feeling the Reeve Oliver and 3) the only reason he has to wrestle fat chicks in pudding on TV is to secure his own black American Express card. Birdman took a bunch of phone calls to get North America's response to the new Reeve music. Jesse told a story about Shawn White falling victim to a "hide a dook" in Japan. Of course that story opened the brown flood gates to the guys giving their best "hide a dook" story and taking one disturbing call after another from listeners who also have experience with the art of blasting hidden dooks for personnel enjoyment and entertainment. Here are the songs they managed to "squeeze" in for this edition of Demolition Radio. • Reeve Oliver - "Endless Bummer" • Reeve Oliver - "Tour Song #2" • PJ Harvey - "The Mess We're In" • The Adicts - "Rollercoaster" • The Black Power Rangers - "Certified Hits" 2/20/07 - The boys (minus Ellis because he was in Hollywood land filming his show for Spike TV) kicked the show off reminiscing about hittin' up the skateparks when they were young.Ê Jesse told a story about the very first time he skated at one, and having one of the regulars there accidentally slam into him in the bowl - the dude felt bad and handed him a pack of 50 Independent stickers to make up for it.Ê Jesse, being eleven years old, thought there was no way anyone could have that many stickers and therefore they must be stolen - he ended up giving them way in order to clean his hands of the evidence.Ê Later on, Hawk told a story about being in the Cayman Islands on a skate tour with Bam and a buncha other dudes.Ê While they were at the hotel pool, they happened to see Iggy Pop lounging around in his short-shorts like a tourist. The story went on, though Jesse interrupted Hawk midway through and told him that he'd already told this story on the air - Tony seemed excited about telling it, so Jesse felt bad shutting him down - but ultimately, he shut him down.Ê Tony then said that they are officially out of stories on Demolition Radio. Moving on to playing some tunes, Hawk played some of the new Nine Inch Nails - to which callers seemed to have mixed reactions, though Tony claimed he was real into it and that it reminded him of "old Trent."Ê Jesse countered the NIN by playing the Swedish pop group - Peter, Bjorn & John (sure Ellis would've torn it apart had he been in the studio).Ê Much to both Hawk and Jesse's shock, everyone that called in afterwards seemed to love it.Ê Hawk could not understand what was happening - people dissing on NIN but getting all into Jesse's Swedish pop.Ê To make matters worse, Hawk played an old Bjork house song.Ê Needless to say, people were not happy. Regardless, ya gotta hand it to the Birdman for bein' genuine in his musical taste and not caring who says what.Ê And those were the haps this week on Demolition Radio!! • Teddybears ft. Iggy Pop - "Punkrocker" • Nine Inch Nails - "My Violent Heart" • Nine Inch Nails - "Survivalism" • Peter, Bjorn & John - "Young Folks" • Bjork - "There's More To Life Than This" • Black Keys - "10am Automatic" • Wall of Voodoo - "Red Light" 2/13/07 - The show kicked off today with Hawk behind the boards.Ê Demolition Radio's usual engineer spaced and Hawk gave himself a 10-minute crash course just before the show, teaching himself how to engineer the show.Ê If he's lucky, we might give him a job as a full-time board operator at Sirius!Ê In the meantime, Hawk and Jesse (Ellis was off shooting his TV show) spent most of today's show brainstorming band names for Jesse's new band.Ê Jesse claimed that his favorite idea so far had to be "The Fancies" - mainly because he'd make Ellis play it on his show and have to announce things on the air like "That was The Fancies that you just heard..." The boys decided to throw it to the audience and see what they got back.Ê A few tasteful highlights from callers included "Battered Uterus," "Spaghetti Nipples," "Vaginal Secretions," as well as choice names like "Boner Puppy," "Fellatio Surprise Party" and "Anal Leakage."Ê The concept of "Anal Leakage" lead Jesse to tell a story about how he once went in for a back massage at Tony's wife's business and how before the masseuse came into the room, Jesse quickly grabbed a few tissues to clean up down below, in order to prevent the masseuse from gettin' a whiff of somethin' nasty.Ê Hawk then mentioned how at the massage parlor, their bathroom is right up front by the receptionist and people getting manicures, so if you're to drop a bomb in the bathroom, everyone's gonna know. And those were the haps on this week's Demolition Radio - another show of high-brow discussions and upper-class musings with The Godfather of Skateboarding!! • New Model Army - "Vengeance" • Guns 'N Roses - "Mr. Brownstone" • The Black Keys - "Your Touch" • The Chameleons - "Swamp Thing" • The Jam - "In The City" • The Fratelli's - "Flathead" • Meat Puppets - "Swamp TBackwatering" 2/06/07 - Tony Hawk, Jason Ellis, and Jesse Fritch came to you this week from their studios in Vista California. ÊEllis said that Jesse should keep that to himself. ÊLater, Hawk took a call from a kid wondering if there'd ever be another Birdhouse video - to which Hawk replied "Yes" and that it'll be out very soon... ÊThey eventually started talking about Bam and the "MTV Curse" that seems to exist with all newlyweds MTV makes a show about. ÊEllis said that he gives the marriage a year at best. ÊHawk said that he thinks the marriage is totally legit and that it'll last. ÊLater, Ellis admitted to only having read one book in his entire life - and that was the autobiography of L.T. ÊThis got Hawk & Jesse talking about the autobiography of Motley Crue they'd read and how good it was. ÊEllis hated on the Crue and claimed he was never into them. ÊJust to piss him off, Hawk started playing the slow Motley Crue ballad "Home Sweet Home" Ð Ellis wouldn't admit to even knowing what it was. ÊThey all started riffing on 80's glam acts and playing clips of everyone from Bon Jovi to Ratt to Ugly Kid Joe - finally ending the show on the motherload of awesome hair band songs "Cherry Pie" by Warrant. ÊWouldn't be Demolition Radio without some embarrassing ass guilty pleasures!! • Modest Mouse - "Dashboard" • Bloc Party - "Hunting for Witches" • Public Enemy - "Can't Truss It" • Warrant - "Cherry Pie" 1/23/07 - This week Tony and Jason Ellis opened up the show with a brand new show open and the guys were stoked. The only catch is Ellis's wife will let him bang ten chicks at once as soon as he has a million dollars in the bank. Jesse was missing but we heard he has a new band; Jesse couldn't make skate practice because he was out practicing with his new group. Jesse showed up late and talked about rocking out and living the dream. Next Jesse said people have to stop hating on fast food cause it rules, Ellis talked about his ten-some again and how his unit is 6 pounds soft, and the gang discussed Ellis lifting 100 pounds with his balls on his TV show The Wild World of Spike. This naturally lead the guys into a discussion about who has hurt their balls skating and how, a caller called in and said Ellis should have a ten-some with midgets but Ellis wasn't feeling it, and then Ellis admitted he tried to bang Bridget the Midget but he got shot down. Ellis did declare he would make his ten-some racially equal and have all different races of females there to take his large member, Hawk talked about being invited to Bam's bachelor party but not being able to make it, and Rooftop called in from Vegas to report he was at Bam's party last night and he was going again tonight. Rooftop said Don Vito had a swastika on his head and Novak was letting people bowl balling bowls into his dick last night and it may have been the sickest party he'd ever been too. Ellis said he wasn't invited because they hate him, and Rooftop admitted Novak talked trash on Ellis earlier today on Faction DJ Tully's show. The guys had their friend "O", a certified music expert, in the studio with them today as well.Ê Jesse and Hawk talked with him about how much they hated Sublime and all of the white-boy reggae acts they ended up spawning.Ê O said he used to see them at a place in San Diego called The Belly Up, which led to Ellis shamefully telling stories about doing coke there years ago.Ê This then turned into Ellis talking about how healthy he his now and the colonics he's gotten that've "gotten the bugs out of his ass."Ê Later, Hawk played a song by the band Shiny Toy Gunz which everyone ended up completely hating on, including callers.Ê One kid called in to thank Ellis for the sex advice his girlfriend took from Ellis' show a few days earlier and Hawk commented that on Demolition Radio, there's two kinds of calls: technical skating questions for Tony and sex comments for Ellis.Ê Finally, Hawk talked about how good he's getting at Guitar Hero on PS2 and everyone busted on him saying that he's just pressing buttons on a controller.Ê Hawk maintained that he's still rockin out on it and went into a Butthole Surfers song, apparently one of the hardest songs to play on the game... • Cold War Kids - "We Used to Vacation" • Sisters of Mercy - "This Corrosion" • Infectious Grooves - "Punk It Up" • Shiny Toy Guns - "Don't Cry Out" • Pixies - "Something Against You" • Butthole Surfers - "Who Was In My Room Last Night?'" 1/09/07 - Tony Hawk and Jesse Fritch welcomed Justin and Adam from the band She Wants Revenge to hang out and talk skating and music on today's show.
